Gaylord Unloading

It is not unusual to find Gaylords in plants, even if they have a central system. These containers are a popular method for resin suppliers to ship material to processors if the processor does not utilize silo storage. Even when silos are present, some materials and additives may be shipped in Gaylords.

Automatic removal of material from the gaylords can be accomplished with a lance or pickup wand attached to a vacuum loader but the wand will just dig a big hole in the material unless someone moves it around so that most of the resin is removed.
